Engineering at Freedom Robotics
We keep our team lean, continuously deploy, and run 1-2 week sprints with early and significant customer feedback. We always have the goal of balancing speed, quality and learnings. Everyone is expected to build robots, understand how the core features of our product interact in the real world and think in a “failure first” way given the extremely hostile real-world environment our customer’s robots run in.
We believe in light branching, PR’s w/ code reviews for everything, continuous live deployment on an hourly basis, efficient stand ups, the correct level of testing
Massively scalable and fault expectant APIs, on-device agents. Robots in the wild. Building tony-start level interfaces. Building user experiences and features for individuals, small teams, large organizations and full operational deployments.
You get to redesign our API and infrastructure for 10-100x larger scale.
Implementing interfaces for interacting with and controlling robots which make users feel like Tony Stark.
Building out new features for driving everything from 2 lbs to 4 ton robots.
