Engineering at FTW
We are a very small team that follows Agile processes. Our sprint cycles are two weeks long and we end each sprint with a retrospective and sprint planning meetings. That being said, since we building out our initial team, you will have a say in setting up our operating practices and evolving it over time.
Since we are building realtime systems that with a high level of concurrency. The challenges on the backend are to process events in realtime at scale with an extremely high uptime and resilience.
Challenges on the frontend range from creating elegant and user friendly interactions to processing realtime events over a websocket connection and maintaining a consistent state across both the frontend and backend.

Although we are well funded, we like to think ourselves and hungry and scrappy. We are a product driven company and want to work with people that really believe in our vision and want to build a mass consumer internet product. Additionally, joining as an initial founding team member, you will have a lot of influence over defining the culture of the company.
