Engineering team and processes

We hire only the best people, pay them well, and then trust them. We give them problems not projects and we give them whatever tools they need to overcome those problems. We encourage people to always search for the highest impact work. The highest impact work may not be what was on the manager's backlog of tasks... Find a way to create the most impact possible, and leverage the manager as a resource to get it done. Also... who needs PMs, engineers are smart and well suited to problem-solving. Give them problems, and they will solve them. We have a few PMs to help when an engineer needs it, but you won't find a ton of PM's dictating tasks to engineers at Fulfil.

Technical Challenges

We are solving an insanely challenging problem with robots. This is historically a task humans had to do, and it took a lot of humans a really long time to do it. Our robots can do it better, faster, cheaper... There are a ton of problems to solve. In fact, we have so many problems to solve, that we just have a giant list of problems which we encourage people to noodle on, and break down into smaller pieces and solve each piece one by one. Find a problem to solve, or a way to make an impact and go after it.
