Why join us?
Leadership. Founded by ex-Google engineers who continue to innovate and push everyone to build a better workplace. That Google influence runs deep, from tech stack to company culture (well, the parts that we liked the most anyways). We're kinda like them, except you actually see the impact of your work.
Watchwords. FullStory's watchwords are organic, and they truly influence every piece of the business —from the product to the people. Empathy, clarity, and bionics truly embody who we are. (btw, we know it sounds like corporate jargon, but it really is true and we can't wait to prove it irl!)
Flexibility and autonomy. FullStorians enjoy an immense level of autonomy and flexibility. From a remote-friendly work environment to untracked paid time off, we don’t believe in micromanaging your time. After all, smart, driven people are their own best bosses.
Growth. We're doing pretty well for ourselves and we want to take you for the ride. From enterprise customer size (and $$) to adding people to our team, everything is movin' on up.
Engineering at FullStory
The very nature of FullStory involves an exciting combination of technical challenges:
- -high scale recording, data analysis, and indexing, while minimizing costs
- -low latency search and analytics
- -unusually insightful data science and related visualizations
- -an extremely lovable app (and even lovable APIs) to bring it all together
Conversions! One recent feature, a joint venture between engineering and data science :) https://www.fullstory.com/conversions/
Distributed Systems! Data ingestion at our scale is no small feat. Check out this blog post to learn how we live-migrated traffic across all services away from Cloud Tasks while avoiding disruption to our customers. https://bionic.fullstory.com/migrating-from-cloud-tasks-to-cloud-pub-sub/
Native Mobile! FullStory’s groundbreaking platform helps our clients deliver stand-out mobile experiences while respecting end-user privacy. https://bionic.fullstory.com/private-by-default-mobile-analytics/
Working at FullStory
- One word — autonomy.
- Second word — empathy.
- Third word —👐 FuLlStOrY. 👐
- Jokes aside, we want people to be motivated to do what needs doing while we provide the necessary resources to do your job. This is the foundation the company has been built on, which has greatly benefited our employees (remote + Atlanta HQ). All of this autonomy is genuinely surrounded by empathy. We want you to be successful here, and we also realize life happens when you least expect it. If something comes up, your coworkers are here to help out and you can honestly rely on them to do so.
Remote work is a GOOD thing! It's also something we take seriously and have been very thoughtful about. We're always inclusive of the remote team, from having every conference room outfitted with a TV and Chromebox to consistently opening up our All Hands to remote presenters and questions. Plus, our HQ team can work from home whenever, so there's no weirdness there.
Work from Home
We're really well equipped for every employee to work from home whenever they need to, but that also means that our remote workers will have ATL based remote buddies! Those ATL based folks who work from home also get a taste of what working remotely is like, which really elevates the level of empathy to be inclusive.
FullStorians enjoy an immense level of autonomy and flexibility. From a remote-friendly work environment to untracked paid time off, we don’t believe in micromanaging your time. After all, smart, driven people are their own best bosses.
Unlimited PTO (and the real kind, not the
but I'm still going to Slack you repeatedly until you answer my questionkind).
Minimum 6 weeks parental leave for ALL new parents.
99% premium coverage for full-time employees, 75% for any dependents — which is unheard of for a private company of our size.
#FullService is our internal volunteer org. We've had a wide range of causes we've supported, from animal shelters to cancer walk fundraisers to supporting a local ATL charity built on providing medical financial relief to our friends in the hospitality industry.
Our office is a renovated Kroger, so it's always fun to guess which aisle you're on while you're walking around. The entire space is very purposefully built out, meant to provide an open work environment that builds community but still includes plenty of areas to squirrel away if you need to be heads down.
