Strong Backing: Gerry is an early seed stage company, created by serial entrepreneurs (that co-founded and scaled businesses in Fintech & Insurtech - Tala and RGAX) and backed by $3.75M of capital from great VCs including Core, Bessemer, 8VC, Kapor. Our Impact: We're helping hundreds of families by employing our own licensed social workers. They use the Gerry proprietary database (with attributes on over 43,800 senior living communities across the country) to screen, evaluate and personalize recommendations for families.
Our data & engineering team currently works on a one month roadmap that is collaboratively crafted with our product leaders, and informed by data. We are focused on answer three core questions each month, and have a series of tactics, features to build, and a benchmark for success.
We don't have a mandate for short 1-2 week sprints, or long (6 month) back-logs of features that nobody will use.
We are using machine learning to fill in gaps within our 43,800 community database, as well as trying to personalize and predict recommendations.
Working with our Care Advocate team (licensed social workers) and data science to implement new client communications services (Mailgun, Twilio, Calendly) to improve conversion and contact-ability
Working with our product team to develop a custom content pages (in Contentful) for different clients according to channels.
Pulling in data to profile and assess in advance a prospects likely engagement method (phone vs email) and basic info (demographics, income, etc.)
