Engineering at Ginger Labs
Our company maintains a very flat hierarchy. We have project leads who facilitate meetings and help assign tasks, and that's about it. Our processes are team-specific, whatever works for the team, generally they are loose interpretations of agile workflows, customized to the people involved and the current state of the project. We often revisit this to ensure that we are doing the best thing for the team.
We deal with everything from low-level rendering challenges on iOS to handling live, collaborative CRDT data on our backend. And we make sure to take user experience into account alongside every engineering decision.
You would be bringing the Notability experience to the web: browser-based rendering and editing of complex notes, including text, images, handwriting, and audio recordings.
You would be building out the next level of features for Twobird, our email client that brings collaborative notes into your inbox.
