GiveCampus is the leading social fundraising and engagement platform for educational institutions. It blends crowdfunding, peer-to-peer fundraising, and social networking to help colleges, universities, and K-12 schools raise more money, from more people, at a fraction of the cost of traditional fundraising methods. We're based in San Francisco and Washington, DC.
We are already profitable.
Technical cofounder was at Facebook before starting GiveCampus.
We are adding more than a school a day to the platform.
Our engineering team operates in 1-3 week cycles, where we identify the most impactful things to work on. Engineers typically pair with another engineer to scope, design, and build features. We go through a full PR process, and do pushes 3-5 times a week.
We're making sure we work on problems that solve real-world problems faced by school fundraisers. We never build in a bubble, and keep a close feedback loop with the end user.
You'd get to work across our current three products, as well as contribute ideas and direction to new focuses.
We need flexible engineers who enjoy digging into new problems, and finding innovative ways to solve them. Being a small team, many problems we see regularly are new to anyone, so someone needs to dive in and come out an expert.
We offer 15 days of PTO, and an unlimited sick leave policy.
We do quarterly retreats where we dive into high-level aspirations and goals as a company, and promote company cohesion.
If you need to move to work for us, we will pay for it.
We encourage engineers to actively engage with the community, in order to both learn best practices, and find other like-minded individuals.
