Role Description

Glidian is a growing digital healthcare technology startup based in the San Francisco Bay Area. At Glidian, we are looking to disrupt and innovate on prior authorizations, an outdated process that causes huge amounts of delays in patient care and missed reimbursements.

We're looking for a software engineer with strong coding fundamentals and a record of high quality engineering. You will be working closely with the founders to create the best experience for patients, providers, and internal teams. As the first engineering hire, you will also be responsible for end-to-end development of features and will own major parts of the code base.

Responsibilities: - Collaborate with founders and technical team to deliver internal and external features. - Build and document features, tests, and infrastructure. - Provide thoughtful feedback and propose potential improvements. - Manage and build APIs, integrate with APIs + EDI, and implement webscraping automation.

Requirements: - 3+ years of experience building a software product in a team environment. - Passion for innovating and transforming healthcare for the better. - Interest in working in a very small, close-knit startup. - Experience with Javascript. - Strong communicator and collaborator.

Preferred requirements: - Strong background in back-end development and automation. - Experience in web programming and also NodeJS. - Interest in data (analyzing metrics, designing tests, etc) to drive decisions. - Strong track record of thoughtfulness towards user experiences.

About Glidian

We're creating a digitized, modern process for healthcare providers to submit and track prior authorizations. Prior authorizations are mostly done by fax/phone call today and cause unnecessary delays and missed reimbursements.

Company Culture

We pride ourselves in our user's experience and making sure patients get the authorizations they need. We're resourceful and lean.
