Engineering at GoGoGrandparent
Today, team leads manage their own team's sprint schedule and do weekly 1:1's with our cofounders. All PRs are reviewed by at least one other engineer on the team. We're at about 80% code coverage and run all new deployments through our staging server to make sure all works well before deploying. We'd like to move to a CI/CD deployment system with all engineers able to push code to production, but could use some help setting that up in a sustainable way.
We have to build a 'voice user interface' that can survive the unreliable gauntlet of U.S. telecommunications infrastructure, and be easy to use for people that are over the age of 85.
You would be the lead of our 5 person ride engineering team that forms the main cash generator for the company.
You would work on our accounting ledger that processes thousands of transactions per day, and syncs them to more efficiently reduce our payment processing costs.
You'd refactor our backend into a microservices architecture.
