Role Description

Key Responsibilities:

Be the subject matter expert on usability, functionality and implementation for all of our mobile applications. Lead the development of all mobile applications with emphasis on Android. Collaborate with local and remote team members to articulate and architect new mobile features with minimal guidance. Unit and UI test code for robustness and usability. Work closely with the product team to scope and define requirements. Write and review engineering design documents and guide product design Help design and implement mobile testing strategies and SDLC workflows. Mentor junior members of the team. Qualifications:

BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is preferred. 5+ years of experience in Android development. Must have a passion for building great UI and design patterns. You love mastering new technologies and techniques. Must have expert experience in developing Android applications using Java and/or Kotlin, and are familiar with the latest APIs and SDKs on the Android platform. Extensive understanding of object oriented programming, networking, multithreading, memory management, and MVVM. Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent problem solving and debugging skills. Good understanding of Unit testing and UI testing. Experience working with RESTful APIs and full-stack solutions. Understanding using services in AWS such as S3, API Gateway and Lambda is a plus. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with an open-mind and collaboration skills. Contribution to open source projects and/or additional projects is a plus. Experience with Scrum, Agile and iterative approaches is a plus. What we offer:
