Role Description

Our mission is to democratize opportunity - to make it easy for any student to build a great career, no matter where they go to school, what they’re majoring in, or who they know.

Your Impact: We recently have built a brand new Android app from the ground up, with a focus on delightful user experience - and now we want to grow our team! You will be our first dedicated Android team member and will play a large role in shaping the future of Android at Handshake.

In this role, you will be responsible for refining our MVP features, implementing new core functionality, and building new Android features to help students find and build meaningful careers. You will be involved from design all the way to release; working closely with product, design and engineering teams to create delightful user experiences.

Your Experience: You love good design and friendly user-experiences. You are self-driven and able to prioritize your time diligently Problem-solving, critical thinking and communication skills On the job experience with the Android platform On the job experience with Kotlin or Java on On the job experience with Android UI development, especially transitions and animations On the job experience with datasistence, RESTful, MVC and MVVM architectures
