Why join us?
We are a small team of experienced operators who have sharpened our skills at places like Facebook, Google, Amazon, Airbnb, McKinsey, and Harvard Business School. We also previously helped build SaaS unicorn FiscalNote, recently valued at $1.4 billion, as employees #2, #3, and #9.
We raised a $7M seed round backed by top VCs and leaders of top product-led growth companies like Asana, Webflow, Miro, Amplitude and Sendbird.
We emphasize a growth mindset and ownership of our work; our engineers take pride in building an essential product and are always learning from one another.
Engineering at HeadsUp INC.
HeadsUp's tight-knit engineering team operates with high trust and autonomy and is empowered to make decisions both technical and product-oriented. Engineers work directly with the co-founder & CEO (also a software engineer by training) to shape the product. We ship weekly with milestones set on a bi-weekly to monthly cadence. Code changes go through GitHub pull requests, utilizing feature branches and CI. We deploy on Heroku but also leverage AWS for certain components. Each engineer owns the development, testing, and deployment process end-to-end.
We're building a display for sales reps that recommends who to engage and how to engage, so that salespeople can focus on customer interactions. This display will allow sales teams to utilize no-code metrics creators to create metrics without technical expertise, enbaling a better understanding of the customer.
This requires us to build robust, scalable, and secure systems to process and analyze millions of rows of event data and ingest thousands of activity events per second. Plus, we're creating ML models and other analytical processes to turn raw event data into actionable insights for sales reps.
You would create a prosumer-quality user interface (think Notion, Figma or Airtable quality product) – i.e. the
HeadsUp display– that helps sales reps understand millions of accounts and users.
You would help build robust, scalable, and secure systems to enable event processing for millions of actions.
You would build ML models to turn raw product usage event data into concrete actions for sales reps to take.
