  • HealthSherpa is a small team of 30. We care deeply about helping low-income, uninsured people access health coverage that protects them. Because of this shared mission and value system, we've helped over 1.8 Million enroll through our platform and people. We've continued to grow revenue year over year and aim to double this Open Enrollment.

  • HealthSherpa is the #1 private marketplace enrollment platform accounting for over 6% of ACA enrollment volume. We were also the first to be approved by the government for Enhanced Direct Enrollment Technology ( integrations). Because of this technology, we account for 95% of private sector enrollment volume.

  • HealthSherpa has a lot of data. We've been around since year 1 of in 2013. We've optimized on 5M shopping sessions and 2.5M plan selections, putting our products ahead of the rest of the market. We serve both consumers and agents alike, which gives us a well-rounded sense of how to create best in class products for all involved in the process of shopping and enrollment. We're expanding and growing our product offerings at a rapid rate.

Engineering team and processes

Team of 4 currently including the CTO / Founder who manages the team. The Engineers join work groups that are dedicated teams of 4-6 partners including Marketing, Design, Sales / Account Management, and at least one Founder. These work groups are responsible for creating their own Product / Group Roadmaps and prioritizing their 2 week sprints. The goal is to give folks more ownership, encourage them to share ideas and learn from one another, and work towards the company goals as a team.
