Innovate on new ways to evolve our cloud infrastructure and support our product teams. Collaborate with product managers, scientists, and other engineers to synthesize requirements and author new engineering designs. Build for reliability and scale across users and health systems. Advance DevOps best practices. Required:
A passion for improving people’s lives through access to better information about their DNA 2+ years development experience in one of the following: Go, Python, or a similar language Expert sysadmin skills in a Linux environment, including Bash A proven track record using modern cloud platforms — AWS, GCP, Azure Experience with containers — Docker, ECS, Kubernetes Experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling/frameworks — e.g., Terraform Affinity for an engineering culture that emphasizes Agile, DevOps, and continuous delivery Pluses:
Familiarity with full-stack development Familiarity with regulated software systems and entities BS+ in Computer Science; coursework in genetics or bioinformatics What Helix can offer you:
