Engineering team and processes

We have a couple of teams dedicated to different areas of the business. Each team uses a Kanban process to make sure they're working on the most important thing at any time. Teams have daily standups, weekly grooming, and monthly retros.

Code is managed on GH using standard PR practices and shipped multiple times per day. Every new member of the team will get code into production in their first week.

Technical Challenges

Our technical challenges span a wide range thanks to the breadth of our business. We've been scrappy in our early stage, building out thin but not flimsy solutions to this industry's problems, and now it's time to go deeper.

Projects you might work on
  • Our Agent Service is a standardized store of Property Listing and Real Estate Agent data ingested via Confluent Cloud-based Kafka data streams that can be flexibly configured to pull from Multiple Listing Services (MLS).

  • Third party System Integration is central to our business, and we're creating an extensible system integration platform that can ingest, hydrate, or replay events from any third party platform, publish them in a data stream, and then ingest them in any other system.

  • Timely communication (internally and externally) is one of our most important focus areas. We built dashboards for customers and partners, and now, based on a ton of excellent feedback, we'll be redesigning them and building new, flexible communication layers to improve access even further.
