Honu helps companies save a ton of time on repetitive manual onboarding tasks so that HR teams can focus on building culture and creating an amazing employee experience from day 1.
We're a small team in San Francisco that raised a seed round from an incredibly diverse group of investors.
Employee experience is core to our mission — it starts with our own internal experience. We care deeply about building the best culture possible so that we can help our customers do the same.
Our product is still in its infancy, and our first engineers have the opportunity to own all of our technical decisions and shape the future of our code base.
Our team currently consists of 2 founders, one of which is an engineer. We'll make product decisions as a team, and plan sprints according to our highest priority needs.
We design and implement features to be scalable and resilient. This might include challenges like the complexities of a real-time, single-page web application, scaling backend services under high load, and developing predictive algorithms to enable unique features.
At Honu, we're building an amazing experience for new employees at companies all over the world. A positive employee experience begins before day 1. Honu helps companies engage new hires on a personal level, set employees up for success in their new roles, and enable HR teams to focus on building and improving culture.
We are an equal opportunity employer, celebrate diversity and inclusion in our culture, and strive to help our customers cultivate and improve their cultures as well. We like to have fun, encourage balance in life, challenge each other to be the best humans we can be, and produce meaningful work.
We offer unlimited vacation, and we actually take it — we even enforce a minimum. Our founders take real time off.
We provide complete health, vision, and dental benefits with zero premiums (for individuals) and deductibles.
We allow a 3-month, fully covered maternal and paternal leave.
We're located at 2nd and Harrison, in the heart of SOMA and right by South Park. Our office is full of natural light and has a ton of plants. :)
We're a small team and want to work together as much as possible, but are very flexible about working from home. We want our employees to feel as comfortable as possible and trust them to understand their most productive working habits.
We care about productivity, not hours.
