We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our rapidly scaling team who will help establish best practices and be a key part of developing our frontend interfaces as well as define how we work with React.

Responsibilities

Build, maintain and implement efficient, interactive, and responsive user interfaces for our customers Write clean, reusable code and libraries Balance application performance with maintainability and code readability Implement input validations Collaborate with team members and stakeholder Bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation Define how the application looks and how it works, optimizing for scalability and speed Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code Act as a mentor to junior developers, through code reviews and document critiques

Qualifications

5+ years of frontend development experience 3+ years of proven experience with a modern javascript framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc.) Solid command of web technologies and object oriented design Knowledge and experience with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery Prior experience with stencil.js is a plus Experience with REST based APIs Experience with source control using Git and GitHub Startup experience is a plus Strong oral and written communication skills Must be a team player with a strong, self-managing work ethic Passion for software engineering, learning and continuous improvement BS in a quantitative or scientific field such as computer science, computer engineering or equivalent experience
