Our engineering approach is pragmatic and iterative. As a small company, our engineers are encouraged to identify problems and design solutions wherever they present themselves. Given our size, everyone has to be a generalist. All code changes are managed using GitHub pull requests with code reviews, but there is very little hierarchy or bureaucratic process. As an engineer, you will be working directly with the CTO to build and maintain our rapidly growing video analytics platform.
We are rapidly scaling a video analytics platform from to thousands of video feeds. There are ample opportunities to tackle interesting challenges in every aspect of the platform, from front-end interface development to cloud infrastructure to computer vision algorithm development. Build an automated monitoring and alerting infrastructure to ensure we know of problems before the customer does. Build tools to enable rapid response by support staff.
Develop novel computer vision algorithms with guidance from senior staff. Adapt and replicate existing algorithms to new customers, new locations, and new applications.
Develop and maintain a web-based dashboard that allows customers to monitor real-time video feeds and the analytics operating on them .
