We are a global engineering team, servicing about 70% of the countries in the world. We have technology teams located in San Francisco, Houston, Chicago, NYC, Atlanta, Henley (UK), London, Johannesburg (South Africa), and Hyderabad (India).
This role is on the Digital Application team. We service internal customers of Invesco (marketing, retail and institutional sales) as well as a major contributor to the firm’s internal digital ecosystem and enterprise architecture.
We operate in the Agile Scrum model, with product owners assigned to each team from the business and each pod aligned to a product.
We have a focus on CI/CD and automation, and have begun the journey to the cloud.
We are currently re-architecting a great many things in the firm. We are looking to complete our journey into a full microservice architecture across all applications, and adopting a fully decoupled model leveraging an ESB layer and robust ETL. We are also in the infancy of building a design system that can be repurposed and reused across any use case and can exist as its own UX ecosystem. In addition, emerging technologies like blockchain and voice are creating new ways of architecting solutions. We have fully embraced this and have projects being formed.
We are in the beginnings of building a portfolio of Digital Tools for investment professionals. This will be the primary focus of new roles. This includes a lot of innovative UX and gamification in order to build user personas and profiles and predictive algorithms, as well as a new collection of microservices and APIs to deliver the new requirements and functionalities. Team members will be blazing a lot of trails as these tools are entirely new and seek to address the new kinds of investors and disrupt a very old and entrenched industry.

Maternal/Paternal Leave
We offer up to 18 weeks for paid parental leave for birth mothers, and ten weeks of paid parental leave to fathers, domestic partners, spouses, and adoptive or foster parents after the birth / adoption / fostering of a child. The short-term disability and paid parental leave follow vesting schedules based on years of service.
