Our mission is to redefine analytics, accountability, and visibility within the supply chain and logistics industry. The global supply chain accounts for roughly 10% of Global GDP, and is also one of the largest contributors to significant global challenges like air pollution and food waste. By changing how organizations work together across the supply chain, we will play a critical role in tackling these challenges head on.
Supply chain delays came front and center this last year during COVID, when products weren’t available on shelves and eCommerce delivery times shifted from days to weeks. We are helping large manufacturers (shippers) break down data silos across their supply chain and identify opportunities around how their supply chain performance can enhance the customer experience. The consumer demand for products at their fingertips isn’t going away, and we are at the forefront of helping supply chain leaders adapt to rising expectations and consequences.

Why join us?
We have an incredible market opportunity.
Global supply chain is not only one of the world's largest industries, it is also one of the last archaic industries yet to go through complete digital transformation. We are already working with some of the world’s largest companies and are first to market in a category that is only going to become more important: how supply chain service levels affect the customer experience.
We empower our team.
We are a humble, hardworking, and ambitious team that is committed to driving change and solving real world problems for our customers. Every employee has a voice at the table in decision making. And at our stage, every decision has a tremendous impact on our trajectory.
We’re growing fast!
We’ve gone from MVP to several Fortune1000 customers, and are now fully investing in growth to capitalize on the opportunity. We are still pre-Series A and this is a chance to get in on the ground floor to help us 5x as a team.
Engineering at Isometric Technologies
Team: Our engineering team is small (10 people) with a flat structure. As a result, each engineer is an owner (or co-owner) for their project. The engineers are organized within pods (just 1 pod at the moment) along with a Product Manager, Designer and Engineering Manager to design, build and scale our product. Our engineers are full stack and technology-agnostic.
Process: Our team runs on kanban (pick up the most important task within an epic or board). We push daily to production. We have a developer friendly acceptance review process and instrumentation. We are committed to building a great product and iterating quickly. We care about code quality for the core of our foundation, but often favor speed and efficiency elsewhere. We are pragmatic and focused on customer success. Still, we dedicate cycles on technical maintenance to build a system that scales.
Working with real-life supply chain data is challenging. To name a few:
- Digitizing the unpredictable physical world is difficult. Any number of things can happen (truck breaking down and carrier being changed mid-shipment, as an example) to a shipment and our application, data model and ingestion logic need to be able to support it.
- We process millions of tenders (bid to carry a shipment), shipments and purchase orders. Running Business Intelligence over this data gets even trickier at scale as queries have to be constantly monitored and improved.
- The scorecarding process is very complicated below the surface and building simple UX is an enormous challenge. Every shipper and customer has their unique set of SLAs that have to be easily created, modified, applied and analyzed.
Automation Project - By automating common tasks performed by customer’s agent teams, we are able to save them tens of hours a week. Think of this as IFTTT for logistics!
Canonical Customer Aggregation - Determine that two different customers are actually the same customer with different spellings by looking at their metadata. Use a combination of names, locations and other miscellaneous information.
Performance Improvements - What worked 3 months ago, may no longer work today due to the rapid growth of data in our system, new customers, and new features. Whether it’s re-implementing our workflow table or improving a query, monitoring and improving our performance is paramount.
