Engineering team and processes

Right now it's a beginning of week and end of week all-hands check-in for the company. The development process is not formal as of yet since it's just our CTO building product and laying down foundation like production environments and working with third party vendor APIs, but you'll be expected to work on stories in our Clubhouse instance and work off of branches and PRs in github. We will deploy as needed until we reach a point where either setup CI/CD or have a release cadence of weekly or so.

Technical Challenges

Building an embeddable javascript widget, building on third party APIs for the core product which means distributed computing challenges, and in the future ETL type work as we collect more and more data for our partners and ourselves. Insurance is a very data intensive world. We'll be unlocking some new avenues through our unique offering and the data that we collect and use.

Honestly we're pre-launch and pretty small and have more to do here as we grow. We outsource our HR function and do have a pretty robust benefits package, including unlimited time off with a mandated minimum.
