We're building the financial OS for professional resellers.
Why join us?
Still in beta, thousands of sellers use our capital and virtual cards to purchase over a million dollars worth of profitable inventory every month. We're growing 100% month over month and onboarded our first customer in May of 2021.
We're backed by notable investors like NEA, Stanford University, Y Combinator, Justin Mateen (co-founder of Tinder), and William Hockey (co-founder and CTO of Plaid).
We've built a cult-like community on Discord and Twitter. Potential users badger us for access every day, and actual users are regularly offered hundreds of dollars for their beta access codes. We have strong product-market fit and are only 2 people right now.
Engineering at Slash
Our engineering team operates on one week cycles. Each cycle begins with an all hands meeting where we discuss what projects on our quarterly roadmap we’re going to work on. Each cycle ends with another all hands meeting where each team member shows off their work over the past week. We use Pull Requests on GitHub to conduct code reviews and we keep careful track of tasks on Linear.
Building a card transaction processing engine that has to handle tens of thousands of webhooks per second.
Being able to surface a user's card details and other personal data without actually storing sensitive information on our servers.
Working at Slash
We have a culture of autonomy and radical customer focus. 1. We believe everyone on our team should have a say in the future of the product, and we encourage people take on projects end to end so they can have as large an impact as possible. 32 We are radically in tune with our customers (our company runs on Discord, not Slack because our customers hang out on Discord all day), and encourage everyone in the company to strike up conversations with our community members regularly.
As part of our commitment to an inclusive workplace, we are happy to offer prospective engineers the chance to connect with our engineering employees who come from underrepresented backgrounds. It’s a way to get a better sense of our team and what it might be like to work with us.
If you’re interested in connecting with our team, be sure to bring this up during one of our introductory calls!
Work from Home
We are remote friendly. We love it when our engineering team comes and work with us from the office, but you have the ability to work from anywhere around the world.
One of our co-founders is a Venezuelan immigrant and the other is a Chinese-Canadian immigrant.
We'll pay for all your relocation expenses if you decide to come work with us in person in the Bay Area.
