Engineering at Jaumo
Our product engineering team works in a SCRUM-like 2-week cadence. Before User Stories hit the sprint, they go through a process of refinement and estimation driven by the product team.
With the introduction of real-time and audio-based features - backed by MQTT and WebRTC - we also introduced a lot more complexity in terms of distributed state management across multiple parties. These challenges drive a lot of software architecture discussions as we need to build both technically reliable and scalable solutions.
