Our Series A was recently led by Sequoia and included previous investors Refactor Capital, Bee Partners, and Cantos Ventures. Shaun Maguire (https://www.linkedin.com/in/shaun-maguire-9881302b/) from Sequoia and an engineer by trade joined our board. He has a strong track record for investing in wildly successful, technical teams.
Engineering at Knowde
We have two full-stack engineering teams operating on two-week SCRUM tracks with very collaboration between the product, design, and engineering teams. Each sprint starts with a planning meeting where we can confirm team capacity and plan the work for upcoming days. We use trunk development process with engineers sending their pull request on Github, where it receives review before being deployed to production. Our build pipeline is fully automated with CircleCI and the sprint cadence dictates when different environments are going to get deployed. We're shipping several deployments per each sprint.
