We connect air and ground transportation seamlessly through codeshare integrations, allowing people to book across two modes of travel under one itinerary. We specifically focus in regional communities where airfare is very high or nonexistent. Our objective is to increase affordable travel options for everyone by mixing modes of transportation.

Engineering at Landline
Should you accept this mission, you'll be our first full time engineering hire. You'll have an enormous amount of latitude to answer this question through your work and help set our engineering culture. The opportunity for growth is incredible.
Like anybody in the travel space, we're forced to use some pretty old, ugly stuff to communicate with airline systems. How ugly? Really ugly. Our airline passenger service system has an XML api (yikes) that may require the Rosetta stone itself to translate. We need someone who is comfortable organizing and optimizing old software and wrapping it in modern architecture.

We love travel and we are driven to open it up to more people at a better price. We work hard and are mission focused but don't take ourselves too seriously.
