Who We Are Lazy Lantern builds a virtual product analyst. It transforms massive behavioral datasets into a feed of simple analytics news. By making analytics usage effortless and accessible, product teams can better understand user behavior and improve their product.

What You'll Do As a a data scientist at Lazy Lantern, you'll work very closely with the founders to define the future of our product. We highly value ownership and knowing what questions to ask—the ability to take an idea through every stage, from conception to shipping a product. You'll be highly independent and autonomous, at the center of our product development process.

You'll - Build models to automatically extract insights from behavioral datasets - Publish, monitor & optimize models in production - Talk with customers to improve existing models and create new ones - Have a central role in driving the product roadmap and insight ideation - Collaborate with engineers to improve our insight-building platform in order to conceive & ship new insights in days

We're looking for someone with - 3+ years of experience as a data scientist - Experience building data products - Strongly product-minded and customer-obsessed - Experience in product/behavioral/customer analytics - Ability to explore datasets and ship end-to-end models quickly - Experience with Python, Numpy, Pandas, scikit-learn, Tensorflow, etc. - Some experience in software engineering - Background in statistics, mathematics, or a related field - No requirement to speak French, but good English level required
