Role Description

What You’ll Do

We are seeking a mid to senior-level frontend web developer who will help build the tools that will bring  the “LitbyLeia” user experience to new screens and devices around the world. Ideally, candidates will come with five or more years of experience with developing web and mobile web applications in an exciting and dynamic team environment. 

You will be part of a team working closely with product and technology stakeholders to define problems and create beautiful and efficient user applications that help users get the most out of new products and features. You should be capable of understanding both user and developer pain points and translating those into elegant solutions that excite users.  

As Frontend Web Developer for the LeiaLoft Digital Platform, you will be responsible for the frontend implementation of our LeiaLoft Developer Console for Windows and Mac browsers. Your job will include: 

Implementing the frontend functionality according to product specifications Improving and optimizing code for performance and reliability Writing web services and database queries What You’ll Have

5+ years experience as a frontend web developer Demonstrated expertise developing and deploying applications using one or more of the following languages: Javascript, ES6+, CSS3, HTML5 Demonstrated expertise in Angular and React frameworks Expertise in building responsive applications for both laptop and mobile devices Expertise implementing unit and integration tests.  Experience implementing front end data and analytics technologies: Elastic Stack Google Analytics/Firebase Analytics Experience implementing A/B testing for user applications Experience building language-localized applications Professional experience working in AGILE method of development Comfort using GitHub, JIRA, Jenkins, Slack Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative startup environment Self-starter with ability to learn new skills quickly Experience working with and mentoring more junior engineers Commitment to achieving the highest standards of work quality Nice to Haves

Experience working in CI/CD development environments Experience with consumer facing media and commerce applications Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Node.JS, Express, MongoDB, REST, GraphQL, SQL, Java, C# Experience working in eCommerce and/or with Stripe payment system Light up Life
