Senior Engineer

Summary

• We are looking for a Software Engineer to help design and build Lina's platform architecture to enable engineering teams to consume a scalable and extensible infrastructure platform

Responsibilities

• Design, test and develop the software to meet those needs
• Collaborate with product development teams to identify needs and translate it into a platform solution
• Recommend upgrades for existing systems and programs
• Develop separate elements of a software that work well in the program as a whole
• Design and build tools for use by our providers, staff, and patients
• Collaborate closely with our clinical and operations teams to ensure that the software we're building solves the problems that present barriers to behavioral health care access
• Maintain a high level of quality in our codebase both as an author and a code reviewer
• Ensure continued functionality of a program during maintenance and testing of software
• Document each aspect of a system or application as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance
• Revisit the development process to fix bugs or address client or consumer concerns
• Support what you build, including monitoring, performance tuning, and responding to incidents

Requirements

• STEM undergraduate degree or equivalent, 3+ years of experience
• Demonstrated past experience as an software engineer in a startup setting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with React, node.js, TypeScript is required
• Experience with Retool is a nice to have
• Collaborative approach and ability to work with people from other teams
• Passionate about improving access to mental healthcare
