Loansnap
LoanSnap invented the world’s first smart loan technology that uses AI and machine learning to analyze a person’s entire financial picture, and shows them how to benefit from a smart home loan.
With LoanSnap, people can stop losing money to lenders who only focus on interest rates and feel confident their home loan is the best option for them now and in the future.

We're already funding 10s of millions of dollars in loans each month.
Our founders have have started 9 venture-backed companies between them and raised almost 30 rounds of funding. Most have been acquired or are still running profitably. Karl advised Facebook when it was just 6 employees.
We're ridding the world of predatory lending. Consumers lose tens of billions each year because they get dumb loans that don't consider their whole financial situation and needs. We are building the technology to give customers a Smart Loan that looks at the whole picture.
Our engineering team all works together closely in a flat, tightly-knit group. Each Tuesday, we meet as a group for a weekly Engineering meeting where we cover the current state of the company, product, and engineering effort, plan the next week's work, and make any process or team adjustments we need as a group.
The product team keeps an ordered list of spec'ed and mocked user stories in Pivotal Tracker that are built in close collaboration with individual engineers and our designer.
We use a Github-style pull request model for managing our code bases. When starting work, engineers create an appropriately-sized design document, branch from master, build and push code to a PR for early review. After CI and code reviews pass, the PR is merged into master and auto-deployed to our staging environment.
Once a week, we wrap up a set of code and push auto-built Docker containers to production using Spinnaker. If needed, feature flags are enabled and final tests are done in production before enabling. The product team writes up release notes and starts training users, customers, and employees on new features.
Building a highly-available, consistent, fault-tolerant system on top of dozens of 3rd party data and service APIs that have a variety of quality and latency characteristics.
Creating interfaces and tools that hide significant complexity of producing and verifying financial information from both users and employees using automation, ML models, and information design.
Securely storing and processing on a snapshot of a customer's entire financial situation.
Modeling and mapping data schemas and storage systems that can have tens of thousands of fields using automated tools and learning systems.
Building a custom, flexible phone and messaging system using Twilio's API.
Helping train and integrate new credit models based on real income and credit data streams.
Globally scheduling each task in a large workflow across our employees to optimize both latency and throughput to reduce loan processing to a 10th of the industry average time on 2-3 orders of magnitude more loans.
Courage, Fairness, and Selflessness are our company values. We exhibit those with our customers, our team, and ourselves. We're also always learning and testing and growing better. The engineering team is strong and we all depending on each other and trust each other to do our best work and lift where we stand.
