We are the central identity layer between any individual and any app. Lumos does three things: 1. we detect any app used in an organization 2. we make end-to-end on/offboarding possible with a single click 3. we make it simple for employees to find and access the tabs and apps they need

We were accepted to YCombinator, yet were won over by our absolutely fantastic mentor Ali Partovi and decided to raise a round with Neo. More and more customers are signing up for our platform, which is why we'll triple our headcount in the next 12 months!
Engineering at Lumos
We are a small and versatile team, and working on hard engineering and security problems as we rapidly scale up and close deals with impressive customers.
Engineering and security are central to how we operate and where we focus our efforts. We have been thoughtful about choosing a modern and scalable tech stack, so that we can run fast early but also be in a position to scale quickly.
We currently operate in a weekly sprint. Everyone decides who works on what from a pool of tasks. These selections are made taking into account an engineer’s interests, and energy around and urgency of the project. This system prevents knowledge silos, and everyone is able to grow because they never focus on a specific area/domain for too long. It also enables us to move fast and course-correct quickly, when needed.
We conduct weekly one-on-one meetings between all team members, so you’ll be receiving and giving honest, consistent, and direct feedback on a regular basis.
We are a remote-first company. We plan to always support folks who want to work remotely 🙂. Yet, the current Lumos team members all live in the Bay Area and we do plan to open a physical office once COVID subsides. Quarterly, we'll have two-/three-week long trips where we rent an Airbnb for the entire team, work together and enjoy one another's company during hikes, surfs, board games, and more!
