Role Description

Technical Project Manager, Artificial Intelligence

MZ is seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team. This role will work closely with game operations and engineering teams to build next generation Machine Learning and AI products and tools for automation and optimization of game KPIs. The Technical Project Manager will own the AI product roadmap, and improve the overall coordination and execution across specialized teams.

What you'll be doing:

Plan and manage various tasks and projects across the AI group by clearly identifying priority, resources, impact, deliverables, and success metrics Drive internal process improvements, remove gaps, and ensure team is working on high impact projects per the roadmap that align with org/company OKR’s Drive interfacing with cross-functional teams including game design, operations, analytics, engineering, UI/UX, and growth marketing Facilitate and participate in regular status meetings with internal and other stakeholders, while owning all critical communications Provide hands-on project management during the Research, Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Deployment, and Post-deployment phases Run Scrum stand-ups, monitor sprint progress and velocity, and coordinate retrospectives and status reports.

Your background and who you are:

Bachelor’s degree in Applied Math, Computer Science, or related field 3+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or Program Manager Must be analytically oriented and have previous experience with data extraction and analysis Expert knowledge of production tools and methodologies, including Jira, Scrum and Kanban Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, external technology vendors and partners in a friendly constructive manner Great attitude with a focus on getting things done and creating the things you wish existed

Bonus points:

Gaming experience, especially mobile Applied Research experience with exposure to prototyping, design, modeling, development, and launch Understanding of the architecture of complex Machine Learning and data products/services Familiar with Data visualization and reporting tools like Tableau
