One unique challenge of our app is that most features can work offline and our data can sync across multiple devices. Because of this, we have to deal with data conflict resolution in the app.
We recently shipped a new user onboarding experience on Android and iOS that resulted in double digit improvement in activation rates. The success of this feature was a direct result of close collaboration between our engineering, product, and user experience design teams.
On top of shipping features, we're continually looking for ways to improve the quality of our codebase. We recently refactored our custom medication reminder logic to use the RRule standard and took advantage of opensource RRule libraries on Android and iOS. This improvement allowed us to simplify business logic and remove unnecessary code for better maintenance.
