We are creating a fleet of intelligent courier robots to reliably and securely transport everything that people need and want in a way that is accessible to everyone. We operate these robots as a transport service. Our robots are perfectly suited to transport the essentials including groceries, meals, medicine, and goods. Our first step is to do this well for cities.

Engineering team and processes

Our engineering team uses an agile methodology driven by combined hardware-software milestones. Milestones are due on a quarterly schedule. These milestones feed backlogs that drive two-week sprints.

We are product and customer focused. Milestones are designed to launch products for customers and develop new capabilities that expand our autonomy capability. To do this, we use a continuous integration methodology that integrates data playback, simulation, and robots in the field to validate the software.

Technical Challenges

We’re building a small robot (electric vehicle) from the ground up. We’re making it drive itself. We’re pioneering a new social interaction.

Projects you might work on
  • Prototype and productize a world-class teleoperation system which enables operators to remotely drive robots from many miles away. Together we'll build a virtual cockpit incorporating rich sensor data to make remote robot driving safe and intuitive.

  • Influence the Marble web architecture and connectivity stack on the next generation of robots.

  • Help us build a scalable backend and fluid user-friendly interfaces for managing a growing fleet of self-driving robots.
