Engineering at Marco Polo
We follow an agile process with all work represented in a Kanban board in Asana. Most engineering teams hold daily standups, but otherwise we strive to stay light on scheduled meetings – which means communication is key!
There is a strong onus on engineers to ensure that they understand the goals of an initiative and the breakdown of work, and to know when it's time to forge ahead, and when to stop and have a conversation. As a remote organization, this helps us all be productive towards meeting our goals and manage our days effectively.
