We are on a 1-week sprint cycle. We leverage CI/CD to deploy code whenever we need to, and employ automated testing to ensure quality. Everyone has a huge impact on the product and business, and is empowered to solve problems that matter. (Our latest teammate built our mobile site on his first day!) We use Github for source control, and all code goes through code review by at least one peer.
- Auto-scaling when we have really spiky traffic (e.g. 50 -> 1000 containers within 3 minutes)
- Managing multi-DB architecture with an ever-increasing # of DB connections
- Faster CI/CD pipeline to speed up delivery
- Hot-updating our desktop app from CI
- Extract and reverse data from undocumented game APIs
- Blockchain-inspired consensus algorithms to create true data between partial data of each gamer
Own all of our infrastructure setup, and implement best-practices with the goal of maximizing uptime, minimizing data-loss, and increasing our EC2 fleet usage efficiency.
Build new features in our Ruby on Rails GraphQL API server, and surface them via ReactJS in our Electron app. Exact features are changing every week, so any new project listed here will be outdated by the end of the week.
