Meadow (YC Winter 2015) creates software to help cannabis dispensaries run their organizations and ensure they are compliant with all current and new regulations. The people at Meadow work on challenges everyday that range from crafting consumer product interfaces to back-end SaaS logic.
Our platform is used by hundreds of dispensaries. We are looking for driven individuals who want to use their energy to move cannabis forward. We are here to do the best work of our lives in a green field of opportunity. Meadow is currently based in SOMA, San Francisco, CA.

Engineering at Meadow
Our engineering team operates on feature based schedules. Working with our sales and customer success team, we will evaluate client feedback and develop a project spec. After that, engineers will either work solo or team up with another engineer to simultaneously work on the backend + frontend. Every change requires a code review and then can be deployed to production easily.
1) Scaling a rapidly growing marketplace from both a consumer and dispensary perspective. 2) Design interfaces to solve extremely complex problems while still remaining simple to our clients 3) Push the mobile web to its limits with our React-based JavaScript web apps. 4) Design systems that can support dozens of requests/second and future proof for our growth trajectory
Build new SaaS features in the API and then implement them in our various React apps (admin backend, e-commerce menu, etc.)
Design abstract systems to integrate with various platforms across state lines and vendors.
Improve performance (median response times, etc.) of our API that powers hundreds of millions of dollars transacted.
