Memora Health is building an operating system for care delivery that implements intelligent workflows to streamline care delivery and revolutionizes the patient experience outside the care setting. We offer an end-to-end platform that unifies fragmented health care data to enable providers, payors, and life science companies to automate care delivery operations - from patient communication to documentation to reimbursement. We uniquely use artificial intelligence to digitize existing care delivery workflows, giving clinicians infrastructure that learns from every encounter they have. Memora supports a full suite of virtual care systems from automated patient intake and scheduling to remote monitoring and care pathways to billing and documentation.

Engineering team and processes

Our engineering team operates on two week cycles, where every team member is responsible for 1-2 notable projects. Each project is jointly led by one engineer and one product/sales-oriented team member.

Our engineering team is currently double-layered with all engineers reporting to the CTO. We have a standard agile development process.

Technical Challenges

Key engineering areas include:

Build and maintain web application features (primarily with Node) and manage our client-facing APIs
Work closely with physicians to make streamlined physician-facing interfaces that easily give them access to patient data
Coordinate with our sales team to deploy and integrate with health systems
Develop data analysis pipelines and scale a computationally intensive conversational AI and data structuring system for healthcare conversations

Projects you might work on

Design and build an interface where care providers (physicians, nurses) can model multistep conversations with patients that are sent on a schedule or on certain event triggers.
Create a utility to standardize incoming patient data from electronic health records over different feeds
Develop a patient risk assessment algorithm based on their reported metrics and conversation history
