Merge is an API-first platform that revolutionizes how B2B companies build and manage customer-facing integrations (think Plaid for B2B Saas companies). Our unified API allows our customers to seamlessly add integrations into their product for their customers to directly sync their data. We currently support +60 HRIS, ATS (Recruiting), Accounting and Ticketing platforms with accessible API design, SDKs in multiple languages, and easy-to-use documentation.

Since coming out of stealth in April 2021, we've grown our team from 7 to 38 across our offices in San Francisco and New York City.
We've grown from about 100 to over 1000 customers on the platform, reaching that milestone in only 9 months since launch. We launch new integrations weekly and plan to expand into different integration verticals/categories.
As an API-first company (think Stripe, Plaid, etc.), we're providing mission critical but non-core functionality to our customers. B2B Integrations are a necessity for growth but build outs take away engineering time & resources. Merge is changing that by allowing our customer to integrate once & fast.
Engineering at Merge
Our engineering team consists of many highly talented and passionate individuals who have solved some of the most complex problems in tech. We follow Git flow and industry best practices, with automatic deployments after code Merges to our autoscaling Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Dealing with rate limiting, IP detection, etc.
- Building out scraping in conjunction with API syncing to create data-rich models for our customers
- Frontend and backend challenges both require the use of true algorithms (it's fun! we'll tell you more.)
- Scaling to potentially thousands of sync and scraper tasks running in parallel
You would be making key decisions on our sync infrastructure, which powers the movement of billions of data points in a clean and compact system.
You can build out scraper infrastructure.
You can work on our no-code integration builder to enable our team of Integration Managers to easily add new services to our APIs.
