Engineering at Merge

Engineering team and processes

Our engineering team consists of many highly talented and passionate individuals who have solved some of the most complex problems in tech. We follow Git flow and industry best practices, with automatic deployments after code Merges to our autoscaling Kubernetes infrastructure.

Technical Challenges
  • Dealing with rate limiting, IP detection, etc.
  • Building out scraping in conjunction with API syncing to create data-rich models for our customers
  • Frontend and backend challenges both require the use of true algorithms (it's fun! we'll tell you more.)
  • Scaling to potentially thousands of sync and scraper tasks running in parallel
Projects you might work on
  • You would be making key decisions on our sync infrastructure, which powers the movement of billions of data points in a clean and compact system.

  • You can build out scraper infrastructure.

  • You can work on our no-code integration builder to enable our team of Integration Managers to easily add new services to our APIs.
