Engineering team and processes

We follow Agile/SCRUM while consisting of both platform and delivery teams where delivery teams consist of a complete team needed to deliver an entire product (mobile, backend, frontend and SRE) while a platform team consists of team of members needed for ongoing maintenance of the existing products we offer.

Technical Challenges

While working with a microservices architecture, message queuing, high concurrency and RESTful api's, security and data privacy is central to our culture. We heavily favor using the right tool for the right job. Our biggest challenge is keeping our architecture as simple as possible while following a nimble approach to software development as we embark on ambitious product roadmaps in efforts to to continue being America's most valuable financial membership.

Projects you might work on
  • One of our popular projects is our no fee checking account with benefits such as a 0% APR cash advances. This is monumental as traditional banks do not allow these added benefits, which has allowed us to crawl up the ranks and play amongst the elites in consumer banking. We aren't stopping there. We have an ambitious product road map ahead that will continue making this product more valuable, which makes the engineers working on this project a pivotal piece in making a large impact on the company.

  • MoneyLion offers its users a suite of fully-discretionary asset allocation portfolios while delivering an institutional quality approach to asset allocation and security selection normally reserved for large institutions or clients of a private bank.

    In addition to the core investment offering, MoneyLion has developed an outstanding financial literacy platform - lionomics - which is a quickly becoming an excellent investor education center.

    We are constantly adding new and innovative features to the investment account and will continue to deliver capabilities and investment options to our members that are normally reserved for clients of the private banks. Private Banking for the rest of us.
