Designed for sobriety or moderation, Monument plans are personalized to members’ goals and lifestyle, and available entirely online. Plans include access to the Monument community, video therapy, and physician-prescribed medication. We believe treatment should be affordable, accessible, and customizable, because life shouldn’t have to stop while you make progress.

Engineering at Monument
We're a small team that values direct and compassionate communication. We encourage asynchronous communication to let engineers focus for uninterrupted blocks, but we also have found pairing to be an invaluable way to help new engineers get up to speed on the codebase and as a way to discuss code reviews.
Operationally, we're currently using bi-weekly sprints to manage tasks and estimation, Github for pull requests and a combination of automated and manual QA.
Our engineers work closely with product, design and other stakeholders, and we encourage them to take ownership over features from end to end, using their own judgment to manage priorities.
Tracking patient health outcomes over time. Architecting the application for HIPAA compliance. Building a seamless set of chat and video tools to allow for easy communication between patients and clinician.
Chat, video calls, and communication tools to allow patients to communicate with physicians and therapists. Group video calling for therapist-led support groups.
In-house scheduling tools to allow patients to easily find, book and adjust appointments with clinicians.
Gathering and crunching data to measure the effectiveness of our program.
