Senior Frontend Engineer Remote, Continental US

Who We Are Nativ was founded in 2018 with a mission to disrupt a stagnant software landscape in the commercial real estate (CRE) investment world using innovative proprietary technology. Launched by a team of software developers and seasoned commercial real estate (CRE) investment professionals, Nativ is transforming how investors and lenders manage their deal data to automate workflows and unlock powerful insights. Without software, the process of sourcing, closing and managing a CRE loan or acquisition through its full life cycle requires thousands of hours of manual processing and involves significant human error and missed opportunities. Our flagship product suite Atlas has been adopted by some of the largest CRE lenders and investors in the country and continues to experience rapid growth with revenue growing over 3x in 2020!

After explosive growth in 2020, Nativ closed on its first institutional fundraising round in December of 2020. The round, led by prominent venture fund Bling Capital (Lyft, Square, Pinterest, etc.) and featuring other prominent investors and funds across the country, allows Nativ to take the next step in its journey to deliver the preeminent software experience in all of financial services to our clients beginning in CRE and then beyond.

Responsibilities of role
• Nativ is looking for a motivated builder - of user experiences on the web, of a company that’s committed to the customer, and of a culture of engineering excellence - to fill a role in our organization helping us build out our premiere web product; Atlas. • An ideal candidate will come on board with the intent to help us build out the next-generation loan management platform for the commercial real estate industry, provide their level best in communication in an evolving remote world, and own the product/services they are building from inception to inclusion.

Required Skills and Experience • 7+ years of experience in software development • Strong skills with Frontend technologies including Javascript, Typescript, React, React Hooks, ES6+ • Deep experience with REST API development and common data structures such as JSON and XML
• Ability to work in Node.js/Express.js
• Passion for writing clean, well-documented, and reusable code • Desire to build a product, a company, a culture of engineering excellence • An Owner – Once it's built you want to see it in client’s hands, and you’ll fight to get it there • Serve as a mentor to mid-level and junior engineers
