Engineering at SportX
Daily 10 minute stand-up
in the morning and a weekly catch-up with the whole team on Monday. No other meetings. We release every 3 weeks with a full CI set-up. We love the keep it simple
mantra, so there's not much more than this.
We're built on Ethereum, which is a brutally slow blockchain with poor UX. Slowness, high fees, and inconsistent data from Ethereum is something we have to overcome on a daily basis. SportX is also a live exchange, and so it has to process thousands of orders changing 24/7.
You will help scale our market coverage from 30 leagues to 1000+, with over 100 simultaneous live sporting events.
You'd create complex features end-to-end that exist on real sports betting sites, but on a decentralized database with a minimal reliance on trust.
You will help scale our services to support 1000+ concurrent users, which is about a 10x from where we are currently.
