We are a small and agile engineering team that works in 1 week sprint cycles. We do a lightweight planning session on Friday morning to set goals for the next week and ensure we have the right things in the sprint. We conduct code reviews using Pull Requests on GitHub and deploy multiple times a day using a fully automated CI/CD pipeline. For UI work we collaborate with our full time designer to great custom components and then integrate them in to our products. We invest heavily in local development tooling, making it really easy for anyone at the company to run and debug any of our services on their local machine.
We're building a platform that integrates with many insurance carriers, we are constantly architecting and building tools to help us build faster and monitor the health of our system. We are also building a best in class API experience for our customers, including automated documentation, a developer dashboard, and well-crafted RESTful APIs.
You would help us build a business rules engine to enforce insurance carrier, state, and national regulations that will run in real time against all our API transactions.
You would get an opportunity to work on building out web hook infrastructure for our API from scratch.
You would get to build out a date pipeline and data warehouse from scratch to support the needs of our internal external customers.
