Engineering at NuBrakes
We are small team of engineers. Right now the team comprises of the Technical Co-Founder, two intermediate engineers. and the Head of Product. We currently perform the standard agile methodology, but are always willing to change the process to cater to the needs of the team. We use github as our source control and CI provider. We utilize AWS for CD and host on ECS using Fargate. Engineers are empowered to merge to production daily and 80% of the code we right is for new features

Dynamic Market Pricing. How do you price the service correctly based on how much it costs NuBrakes to deliver the service? How do you take into account, availability, drive time, parts scarcity, and other marketplace dynamics to deliver an affordable service to our customers?
Appointment Time Suggestion. Whenever a customer is trying to book, how can we suggest to them appointment times that are best for the environment, NuBrakes, and the customer? How can we incorporate availability, avg drive time, technician seniority, fulfilment, and more as factors we want to consider whenever suggesting appointments to our customers.
Fully CICD. We have the goal of getting to full CICD by the end of the year. What do we need to do to have confidence that the features we develop are ready to go into production without any human intervention being injected into the process, and ultimately slowing the release and the team down?

NuBrakes originally started as a car wash company called NuWash. The founders washed the first 5000 cars themselves and the company was built on the premise that no one is above or better than anyone else.
