Role Description

We’re looking for principal and senior engineers to work on our Platform technology team, which builds the tools that our doctors, customer service, and pharmacies use to review and fulfill patient requests. As a leader within our group, you’ll have direct responsibility for building the tools that make our platform one of the most efficient in the industry, as well as helping integrate more advanced computer vision and automated classification tools into our platform.

As a leader, you’ll also have a role in helping coach the team and set our technical direction, so we welcome everyone who wants to help have a lasting impact on how healthcare is both delivered and consumed in the world.

You can have a major impact by...

Leading our design of the next-generation order management tools, which help route patient requests through the complex medical, lab test, and pharmacy review process. Helping our team build our first full-scale automated load testing tools to identify hot-spots in our infrastructure as we scale. Being a great coach and mentor for our existing teammates. Bringing your friends with you (we love referrals!)

Your role here will involve...

Design and build the RESTful APIs that power our Ember webapp and native patient applications. Work closely with our operations teams in our customer service, medical, and pharmacy teams to build tools and APIs to streamline patient review and prescription fulfillment. Working with our mobile application teams to develop mobile-friendly APIs that deliver high performance on slow networks.

To succeed, we think you should have...

A passion to help change healthcare and define a new way of interacting with doctors. Experience in full-stack development, or a mastery of both frontend (Ember) and backend (NodeJS) development. Familiarity with at-scale ecommerce, financial, or healthcare applications with complex financial and workflow requirements. A love of JavaScript (and possibly a little Python.)
