Every year, over 34,000 Americans are severely injured by machines like forklifts. We leverage Computer Vision and Deep Learning Software to help leading logistics and manufacturing companies prevent these types of incidents. Our data shows that increased productivity comes as a result of, not at the cost of, increased safety. We bring technology that enables this into every single warehouse on the planet.
We're not just a moonshot idea with a hyperoptimistic path to eventual potential profitability. OneTrack is a practical product that solves a real problem in a massive market today.
This year, we have grown almost 10x in monthly deployment size. Our systems are capturing millions of events every week and we have an immense amount of data that we use to develop new models and capabilities. We are resourceful and laser-focused on building long-term relationships with every single one of our customers.
You will work hands-on with the core product and directly see the impact of your work on our customers, their employees, and their customers.
It's only two of us on the engineering side right now. We use Asana to plan out our projects and have a biweekly priority queue that we work off.
We use git and a self-built deployment tool that manages the software updates to our fleet.
Most of the heavy-lifting Computer Vision/ML code runs on our devices. They run fully independently of any external infrastructure or compute systems. This makes the architecture of the system really interesting to work with. We always have to think about the tradeoffs of running software on device or in the backend.
Some of the challenges we are working on right now are making sure that the data ingestion infrastructure can keep up with our growth, managing security and authentication across our devices, automating system monitoring and healing, as well as building tools that help us as we start selling through channel partners who should live in their own infrastructure.
Building a robust and secure device authentication system for our devices.
Turning our manually configured and set-up backend infrastructure into a system that can be defined in code and set-up automatically.
Integrating customer data sources into our data streams and merging our capture events with their transactions. Building tools that allow us to make integrations fast and simple in the future.
Think Simple! We are resourceful and persevering, we work hard and we build. Our #1 motivator is seeing our customers benefit from what we do and the impact we have on their businesses.
We get together at least once every 3 months. The last retreat was a weekend at a lakehouse in Michigan!
