Role Description

In order to deliver the experience needed to draw patients and doctors to our platform, we need an extraordinary engineering team that is creative and passionate about user experiences. As one of Orthly's first engineers, you will play a key role in building this team and developing Orthly's core engineering infrastructure. You will constantly be challenged to learn new technologies, and be given the freedom to solve problems on your own and learn by doing.


First and foremost - Enjoyment of learning new technologies, keeping codebases modern, clean, and agile.

3+ years of Software development experience and minimum 2 years of JavaScript experience Thorough understanding of React and its core principles (prior React Native experience extremely helpful) Experience with popular React workflows (preferably Redux) Passion about complex, interactive applications with a thoughtful UX/UI Familiarity with RESTful APIs Experience creating and integrating (API) calls History of building high-level user interfaces using rapid prototyping methodologies


Have experience documenting coding and architectural decisions Have prior experience with Typescript Have developed and published applications for iOS and/or Android Have Github project(s) and open source contributions Have worked in a Test Driven Development (TDD) environment before Have Continuous Integration And Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) experience
