Engineering at Palette
We are early stage and hoping that you can define these processes with us as we scale our initiatives!
We are reimagining how restaurants can monetize the culinary arts. We want to compete head-on with DoorDash and UberEats who take up to 40% commissions from restaurants and give them alternative solutions. In our growth hacking stages, we need a versatile engineer who can explore some of the following:
Web-scraping menu's from myriad sources for thousands of restaurants.
Building ways to map ingredients to menu items to inventory at local grocers.
Plugging into third party delivery API's and tying purchases to cash-back offers via a Plaid+Dwolla API partnership
Design and build of our iOS app
Design and build of our Next.js app for restaurants
Working at Palette
We value creativity first and foremost.
We love first principles thinkers, self-proclaimed philosophers, futurists and technologists who are looking to incrementally change the world.
We are disciplined. We want people who understand the value of getting shit done today.
We want open-mindedness yet conviction. Startups are inherently self-contradictory. You must be committed to the current vision but also open to changing your mind.
We value intelligence and artistry.
Most importantly, we want contrarians. People who think the status-quo sucks.
