Paperspace is looking for experienced software engineers that want to implement rich public API services and tools for developers. Paperspace's Gradient platform is targeted at enabling machine learning developers to put up training and inference pipelines quickly, automate these pipelines, and extend them easily. Programming and development of these pipelines is done through our public APIs and open source sdks. You will help architect and evolve the APIs and sdks that provide the core entry points to our products.
Paperspace... - uses Python, Node.Js and Golang for our public sdks - implements our APIs using HTTP/REST, websockets, GraphQL, and related technologies - uses test-driven development, and continuous integration and deployment processes - wants our command line tools and api frameworks to provide first-class experiences to developers
You will bring... - experience in Node.Js, Golang, Python, and REST API design - full-stack abilities to implement new features across all the layers of our infrastructure, including SQL, NoSQL, web services, pub/sub technologies, and object storage apis - clean design and implementation skills - knowledge of the problems developer's face when using public API and SDKs and how to improve upon them
It would be great if... - you also had experience with the Chromium framework - you have managed open source sdk or framework projects previously - you have the writing and communication skills to document your work for public consumption and participate in open source collaborations - you also have experience with machine learning frameworks and ml programming challenges
Paperspace provides an elegant GPU compute platform designed to eliminate infrastructure bottlenecks for developers.
Our Gradient product is CI/CD for Machine Learning: A popular toolkit for developing and deploying Deep Learning models. Teams of all sizes use Gradient to iterate faster and collaborate on intelligent, realtime prediction engines.
Paperspace is backed by leading investors including Y Combinator, Initialized Capital and Data Collective.
Our mission is to make cloud computing more accessible through radical simplicity, community-driven technical resources, and straightforward pricing.
Our culture is open, respectful, and flexible. Everyone is passionate about being on the team and making a huge impact though our efforts. We challenge each other when needed, but we don't have a hierarchy of people who know more, and those that know less. We respect everyone's opinions, especially during the planning process, and we encourage everyone to contribute. We also enjoy socializing after a major release, or sometimes just having a random lunch all together. Our environment is very informal. You will see that we care as much about each other as we do our product.
