Paragon
Paragon is a platform that enables teams to visually build production-ready APIs and microservices. Our visual workflow editor provides building blocks like triggers, cloud functions, and API integration - so developers can just focus on their core business logic. Once deployed, Paragon workflows provide end-to-end data visibility for easy debugging, and automatically scale to provide enterprise-grade performance with zero maintenance.
Our mission is to democratize software development by enabling engineers and non-engineers to build products together seamlessly. Today, every company is a software company - but software developers make up less than 1% of the population. We're building a new visual programming language for anyone to become part of the future of software development.
Our product is currently pre-launch, but already hundreds of companies from startups to Fortune 500s have signed up to use Paragon once we launch in early 2020.

Why join us?
Have tremendous ownership and impact.
As a founding engineer, you'll be coming in at ground zero and own decisions that impact product architecture, company culture, and everything in between.
Solve challenging technical problems.
We aim to solve incredibly complex problems with a beautifully simple product. To make that magic happen, you'll push the boundaries of your abilities as an architect and engineer almost every day.
Build the future of software development.
The way that people build software 10 years from now will look completely different than it does today. You'll be an integral part of shaping what that future looks like for millions of engineers and non-engineers.
Engineering at Paragon
As a founding engineer, you'll work directly with the CEO and CTO on a daily basis, and have end-to-end ownership of features from development to deployment and debugging in production. You'll be given autonomy over making key engineering decisions, from selecting tools to designing architecting entire portions of our platform.
We typically plan our week in four day sprints. This allows us to focus heads-down from Monday to Thursday, then use Friday to catch up on any missed work, plan for the next week, or just relax and hang out. We've found this approach is actually more productive than the typical five-day work week!
We're abstracting the process of API development behind an easy-to-use visual workflow builder. Our users don't have to worry about deployment, scaling, or performance - we're handling all of it under the covers for them. Architecting and building a platform to support this and offer an incredible user experience has been the most exciting and challenging product we (as founders) have ever built!
You'll help architect and build our entire platform from the ground up - from our API, webapp, to deployment / DevOps processes - to handle millions of concurrent requests and deliver world-class performance at scale. You'll work with customers to understand their requirements and translate feedback into our product roadmap. You'll help define our engineering and company culture and lead the team as our company grows.
